Some of the things considered ineffable
1. Colour - while a description like Red or Blue may approximately describe a colour, the exact shade cannot be described in words. That is why a shade card is required to select paint colours while painting or buying fabric of a “matching” shade.
2. Smell - the sense of smell varies from person to person, some people may be able to detect the faintest odor, others may not be able to smell anything. Expensive perfumes which cost hundreds of dollars may cause nausea in some people.
3. Feelings, emotions and intuitions - though people try to reason logically based on available information, a person’s intuition or sixth sense can help in taking the best decision as information on all variables is often not available.
